Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feodor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Diogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Feodor King could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Filipe Diogo's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diogo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Diogo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Diogo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
King really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Diogo trying to control but King is having none of it.
Diogo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Diogo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for King because Diogo loaded up on that one.
Diogo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
King keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
King is squirming around, avoiding Diogo's attempts to control the action.

King is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
King is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Diogo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
King slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Diogo looks to land a strike but King avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
King could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.

King thows a huge punch but Diogo dodges it nicely.

King is looking to take a break and control but Diogo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Diogo is refusing to be controlled, as King sits in half guard.
Feodor King has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Diogo clinches up with King and pushes him back against the ropes.
Diogo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. King smiles and moves away.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

King wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

King has Diogo pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Diogo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Diogo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Feodor King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filipe Diogo.

King ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. King no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Feodor King will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Diogo moves into range and clinches up with King.
King looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Diogo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diogo tries to clinch but King moves out of range.
Diogo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King moves into range and clinches up with Diogo.
Diogo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Diogo lands a left hand.
King jumps into guard, dragging Diogo to the mat.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Diogo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diogo lands a couple of digs.
King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
King is thwarting Diogo's attempts to control the position.
Diogo tries to kick King off but King keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

King slips a nice elbow through Diogo's hands, connecting with Diogo's forehead.
Diogo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. King is working away from the top position though.
Diogo is breathing heavily.
King is trying to work for a kimura but Diogo is defending well.
Diogo wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
Diogo actively working from the bottom here.
Still in half guard, King seems content to control.

King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Diogo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
King stands up and beckons Diogo to join him on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diogo is defended easily by King.
King throws a head kick but Diogo moves out of range.
Diogo is looking to clinch.
Diogo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

King throws a sloppy head kick and Diogo moves out of range easily.
King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Feodor King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Diogo is squirming around, avoiding King's attempts to control the action.

King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Diogo tries to control the position but King now has his back.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
King drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks King politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. King prefers to stall for the moment though.
King misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Diogo tries to bench press King off him but King keeps the position.
Diogo is not content to let King control the position.
Diogo is trying to control King's posture but King avoids it.
King connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Diogo some visible discomfort.
It looks like Filipe Diogo has been cut.
Diogo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

King is working Diogo over with some ground and pound from side control.
Diogo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but King is controlling him well.

King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Diogo is not content to let King control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diogo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
King stands up and beckons Diogo to his feet.

King fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Diogo is out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diogo.
Diogo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diogo as he avoids it easily.
King slaps away a takedown attempt from Diogo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Diogo on his heels. He'll look to pass Diogo's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
King passes Diogo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
King postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Diogo to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
King throws a series of punches but Diogo avoids them all with ease.
Diogo tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. King manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Diogo avoids the head kick by King.
King is looking to clinch.
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diogo circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Feodor King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
