Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cage Theme. Man has chosen as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man moves forwards but Cage connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Man swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Man just misses with a punch to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Man lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cage has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cage and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cage as he jumps to the side.

Man tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cage is able to avoid easily.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Man. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Cage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Man's guard.
Man is trying to control the position but Cage postures up.
Cage has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Man has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Good leg kick by Man there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Cage.
