Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hal Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle comes to the cage accompanied by I Like to Move It. Jordan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dawn of the Dead by Does it Offend you, yeah?. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hal Jordan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hal Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle avoids the body shot from Jordan.
Takeru Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan wants to clinch up but Kyle keeps it at a distance.
Kyle misses with a low kick.
Jordan scores with a leg kick.
Kyle throws a jab when Jordan was well out of range.
Jordan misses with a kick to the body.
Jordan wants to slow Kyle down by chopping away at his legs.
Kyle looks to land a right hand but Jordan moved out of range.
Kyle pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jordan back to the cage. Kyle follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Jordan throws a low kick, looking for Kyle's leg but Kyle calmly moves out of range.
Kyle missing with a left hand there. Jordan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kyle lands with an overhand left.
Kyle takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kyle tries for a takedown but Jordan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jordan throws a leg kick which misses Kyle's front leg but catches the back leg as Kyle tries to avoid it.
Jordan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kyle.
Jordan lands with a nice body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jordan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kyle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kyle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kyle swings widly with a right hand
and Jordan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kyle tries to clinch up but Jordan circles away and keeps his distance.
Kyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jordan.
Jordan lands a leg kick that knocks Kyle off balance momentarily.
Kyle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jordan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kyle misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Jordan to counter with a crisp jab.
Kyle throws a big shot that misses.
Kyle scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jordan slips a straight right by Kyle.
Kyle misses with a double jab
and Jordan counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kyle has his takedown stuffed
and Jordan counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeru Kyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kyle is breathing heavily.

A chopping leg kick lands by Jordan.
Jordan throws a shot to the body.
Jordan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kyle's sensitive parts.
Jordan scores with a sloppy right hand. Kyle should have avoided that one.
Jordan scores with a leg kick.
Kyle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jordan lands a lovely overhand right.
Jordan cracks Kyle with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kyle ducks right into an uppercut from Jordan.
Jordan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jordan steps in with a hook that catches Kyle right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jordan follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Kyle looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hal Jordan!
During a confident post fight interview, Hal Jordan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
