The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Guapo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cole dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Cole darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cole throws a right hand that El Guapo ducks under and follows up with a left that El Guapo also avoids with ease.
El Guapo moves out of range of the strikes.

Cole bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in El Guapo's guard.

Cole would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cole is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because El Guapo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Conchito El Guapo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

El Guapo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cole motions for El Guapo to come forward. Cole throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
