Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Burkhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lager Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin has chosen yes as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Burkhart! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Lager Assassin! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assassin misses with a looping left. Burkhart staying out of range there. Assassin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Assassin misses with a lunging right hand
and Burkhart counters with a nice double leg into side control. Assassin won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Assassin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Burkhart's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Assassin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Assassin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Burkhart pulls his head out easily. Burkhart works his foot free and advances to mount. Assassin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Assassin for as long as he can get away with. Burkhart prevents Assassin from getting the reversal.

Assassin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Burkhart fails to land the takedown. Burkhart is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Burkhart fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Assassin sprawls well initially but Burkhart persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Assassin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Burkhart is working away from the top position though. Assassin is pressing down on Burkhart's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Assassin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burkhart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Burkhart trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Assassin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Burkhart actively working from the bottom here. Assassin working over Burkhart with some ground and pound. Burkhart looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Assassin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Assassin lands with a punch from half guard. Assassin passes to side control. Assassin creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Assassin lands a decent elbow from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Assassin scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Burkhart to see if he's OK.

Burkhart is rocked! Burkhart sneaks back into half guard. Oh Burkhart is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Assassin wants to free his trapped foot but Burkhart is holding on for dear life with his legs. Burkhart seems to have got his legs back now. Assassin works his way into full mount! Burkhart is trying to escape the mount.
Burkhart is in a horrible position here. Assassin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Assassin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burkhart's face.
Assassin looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Burkhart covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
