Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prime Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Proudstar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Proudstar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prime Time!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Time throws a leg kick which misses Proudstar's front leg but catches the back leg as Proudstar tries to avoid it.
Proudstar misses with an uppercut.
Proudstar cracks Time with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Proudstar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Time at a distance.
Both fighters circling a little - Time finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Time closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Time lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Time loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Time must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Time working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Proudstar looking for a sweep. Not yet Proudstar, not yet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Time lands a nice looking kick to the body. Proudstar takes a step back to recover.

Time dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Proudstar. That did some damage!

Time gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Time tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Time prevents a body shot from Proudstar.
Time scores with a shoulder strike.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Time can't find room to land a body shot as Proudstar controls the action.
Time tries for a takedown but Proudstar manages to get underhooks.

Proudstar tries to throw a body punch but Time avoids it by throwing Proudstar back against the cage.

Proudstar blocking some punches.
Proudstar jumps guard but Time turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Time lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Time has Proudstar pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Time pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Proudstar tumbling to the mat - Time dives into Proudstar's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Time accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Time is in close to Proudstar's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Proudstar has momentary wrist control but Time slips an elbow through the middle.

Time avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Time really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Proudstar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Time throws an elbow that misses. Proudstar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Time's guard. Nice move by Proudstar!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Time seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Time pulls Proudstar in close to his closed guard and prevents Proudstar from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Time fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Proudstar checks it well.
Prime Time seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick lands from Time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Prime Time dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Time moves out of range of the strikes.
Proudstar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Time fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Proudstar checks it well.
Time throws a nice outside leg kick.
Proudstar moves into range and connects with a jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Time scores with a nice strike.
Time moves out of range of the body kick from Proudstar.

A punch lands to the side of Proudstar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Time misses with a straight right.
Proudstar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Time misses with a body kick.
Time buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Time throws a quick inside leg kick.
Time thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Proudstar if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Proudstar blocks a low kick nicely.
Time misses with a body kick.
Proudstar scores with a sloppy right hand. Time should have avoided that one.
Time throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Time lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Prime Time seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Proudstar tries to keep at a distance but Time has taken the fight into the clinch.

Time pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Time has hold of one of Proudstar's legs. Proudstar is fighting the takedown attempt but Time gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Time lands a couple of elbows.
Time throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Proudstar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Time has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Time stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Proudstar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Time stands up over Proudstar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.


Proudstar is rocked!
Time content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Oh Proudstar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Proudstar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Time arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Proudstar's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Prime Time!
