Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slow Motion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Motion has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Luis Soto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Soto.
Motion looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Soto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Motion on his heels. He'll look to pass Motion's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Soto wants to pass the guard but Motion is keeping the position.
Soto is pushing down on Motion's leg trying to pass to half guard. Motion is fighting to maintain full guard but Soto has managed to sneak the leg through.

Soto shoots in looking for a takedown but Motion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Soto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Soto seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Motion for as long as he can get away with.
Motion is in a horrible position here. Soto smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The referee warns Motion that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Soto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
