Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richtor Schkayle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schkayle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fast Lane. Brown is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Monster by Skillet. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richtor Schkayle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monty Brown! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Schkayle's hands. Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Schkayle at a distance.
Brown moves into the clinch successfully.
Brown dodges an elbow strike from Schkayle.
Schkayle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brown lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Brown swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brown lands a body punch in the clinch. Schkayle misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Brown.
Schkayle lands with a right to the head. Schkayle tries to work over Brown's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Schkayle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown throws a punch but it's blocked by Schkayle. Schkayle tries a body shot but Brown blocks it.
Schkayle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown looks for a takedown but Schkayle sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A jab from Brown finds it's way through Schkayle's defenses. Richtor Schkayle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Schkayle swings away with a leg kick that misses. Brown throws a big shot that misses. Schkayle throws a leg kick but Brown checks it. Monty Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown lands a nice hook to Schkayle's body. Schkayle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Schkayle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schkayle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Schkayle is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schkayle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Schkayle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schkayle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Schkayle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown. Brown throwing strikes from guard but Schkayle blocks nicely. Brown wants to pass the guard but Schkayle is keeping the position. Brown controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown misses with a straight right. Brown ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schkayle manages to avoid it. Brown moves out of range of the body kick. Brown scores with the left hand. Schkayle knows he should have avoided that one. Brown throws a body punch but Schkayle moves out of range. Schkayle motions for Brown to come forward. Schkayle throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Schkayle scores with a push kick. Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Schkayle's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Brown wants to pass the guard but Schkayle is keeping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Schkayle throws a wild body kick that Brown sees coming a mile off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Schkayle moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown tries to clinch but Schkayle moves out of range. Brown ducks right into an uppercut from Schkayle. Schkayle takes a body punch but keeps moving. Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but Schkayle is just out of range. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Schkayle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown throws a hook but Schkayle avoids it easily. Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing. Schkayle closes the distance and pushes Brown back into the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brown creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Schkayle blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Brown throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Schkayle tries to land a knee to the head but Brown blocks with his arms.

Schkayle is trying to break the clinch but Brown has him pressed against the cage. Brown lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brown works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown is working for takedown but Schkayle is calmly controlling the position for now. A quick uppercut on the inside from Brown. Schkayle can't find room to land a body shot as Brown controls the action.

A head punch on the inside from Schkayle fails to land. Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Schkayle uses good head movement to avoid it. Brown misses with a short punch on the inside. Brown scores with a nice hook to the head. Brown lands with a right to the head. Brown lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Schkayle or not. A nice right hand lands inside from Brown. This has been an exciting period of action! A shot in the inside from Brown. A left hand lands to the body for Brown.
Schkayle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brown has him pressed against the cage. Brown blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schkayle blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Brown lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Brown gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Brown looking to pass the guard. Schkayle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Schkayle keeping full guard, as Brown tries to pass. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brown is stalling in the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monty Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Schkayle throws a body kick that misses. Brown looks to land a right hand but Schkayle moved out of range. Brown scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Brown misses with a looping right. Nice straight punches there by Brown. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brown. Schkayle connects with the punch. A jab from Brown misses. Brown avoids the head kick by Schkayle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brown moves in looking to clinch but Schkayle pushes him off. Schkayle misses with a looping left. Schkayle drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Schkayle swings widly with a right hand
and Brown counters with a right hand to the body. Brown cracks Schkayle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Schkayle takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses. Brown uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Brown blocks a head kick by Schkayle.
Schkayle tries to keep at a distance but Brown has taken the fight into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Schkayle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown tries a body shot but Schkayle blocks it.

Brown prevents Schkayle from breaking the clinch. Brown fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Brown pushes Schkayle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Schkayle misses with the head strike.

Monty Brown seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Schkayle misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Schkayle tries to break free but Brown pushes him back against the cage. Schkayle blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Schkayle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schkayle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab. Brown throws a jab when Schkayle was well out of range. Schkayle on the wrong end of a nice jab. Excellent takedown into side control there by Brown. Brown tries to move into full mount but can't pass Schkayle's legs. Monty Brown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. You can see the frustration on Schkayle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Brown is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Schkayle will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Schkayle tries to get back to half guard but can't. Richtor Schkayle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Schkayle rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Brown's guard! Nice work there by Schkayle! Brown is pulling down on Schkayle's head. It's preventing any offense from Schkayle, at least for the moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brown connects with a jab. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schkayle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
And that's the end of the fight! Monty Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
