The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise throws a lazy right hand but Slick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wise keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Oil Slick has been cut.
Slick thows a body shot but no joy.
Slick throws a front kick aimed at Wise's knee but Wise avoids it well.
Wise throws a low kick, looking for Slick's leg but Slick calmly moves out of range.
Slick uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wise.
Oil Slick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wise fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slick has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Slick wants to sweep here but Wise controlling him for the moment.

Slick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wise doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wise manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wise decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Slick, up you get!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wise enables Slick to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wise manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Slick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wise swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wise is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Slick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wise is working away from the top position though.
Slick tries to roll over but Wise keeps him under control.
Slick moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oil Slick.
I think Slick has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
