Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maritn Boudreaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Parts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boudreaux's entrance music is The Prince. A fine choice. Ryan Parts told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Boudreaux.
Boudreaux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parts swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Parts lands with a hook. Boudreaux tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A left and a right from Parts both land. Nice combination.
Parts lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boudreaux circles away quickly and effectively.
Parts drives through and clinches with Boudreaux against the cage.
Parts lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Parts avoids a wild elbow strike from Boudreaux.
Parts misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boudreaux looking to throw knees to the head but Parts is blocking nicely.
Parts lands a hook that snaps the head of Boudreaux backwards.
Parts is trying to force a seperation but Boudreaux has the dominant position.
Boudreaux creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Parts is looking to break free of the clinch but Boudreaux has double underhooks.

It looks like Ryan Parts has been cut.
Parts avoids a wild elbow strike from Boudreaux.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Parts throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boudreaux tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ryan Parts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Whack! Boudreaux lands a heavy head kick that drops Parts. The ref tackles Boudreaux to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Parts was done.
