Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Antony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antony kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Imperial March . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Antony shows good takedown defense.

Antony shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Antony is working for a guillotine from mount but Silva frees his head quite easily.

Silva is looking to get to half guard.
Silva wants to control but Antony is having none of it.
Silva can't escape the position.

Silva really wants to buck Antony off and get back to his feet.

Silva tries to lock up and control but Antony gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Antony is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Antony circles away and we're back to standing.

Antony tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Antony jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Antony gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Antony stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Augustus Antony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Silva.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Antony manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Antony tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Antony manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Antony is working away from the top position though.

Antony frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva can't escape the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Antony's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Antony misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Silva shoots and misses

and Antony counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.

Silva wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Antony has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Silva's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Silva is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Antony!
