Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes to the cage accompanied by Damian Marley - Welcome To Jamrock. Black is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by yes. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mr Black enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Alves lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively.
Black cracks Alves with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Black uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Alves.
Black throws a nice outside leg kick.
Alves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Alves swings for the body but Black moves out of range.
Alves misses with a body shot.
Black feints and then cracks Alves's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alves down.
A decent looking cross lands there for Black.
Black looks to land a left hand but Alves moved out of range nicely.
Black looks to land a right hand but Alves moved out of range.
Alves looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alves with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Alves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Black misses with an uppercut. Alves saw that one coming.

Black shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Alves's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Alves wants to sweep here but Black controlling him for the moment.
Black wants to control from the top but Alves keeps moving.
Alves is trying to keep Black in close.
Alves working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Black.
Alves manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.
Alves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Alves escapes and throws Black's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Black tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Alves wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sloppy strikes there by Alves.
Alves wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
Black is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Alves off and has taken his back!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Black.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alves trying to control the action but Black just sinks the hooks in.
Black lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Black lands with a hammerfist to the side of Alves's head.
Black cracks Alves with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Alves from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Alves breaks Black's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Alves's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Alves's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leandro Alves.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Alves doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Alves avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Black doesn't manage to clinch there - Alves circles away.

Black changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alves looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Black misses with the ground and pound.
Black is putting a hurting on Alves here, landing some big shots from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Black thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Alves is not content to let Black control the position.
Black works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Alves is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Black tries to score with some ground and pound. Alves controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Alves is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Black off and has taken his back!

Alves bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.

Black wants to improve his position but Alves is controlling well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black gets back to full guard.
Black looking for a sweep. Not yet Black, not yet.

Black is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Alves defends well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Leandro Alves wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Black connects with a leg kick. Alves looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alves is defended easily by Black.

Black drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Alves lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Black!

Black wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Alves controlling the positon.
Black staying busy and making it hard for Alves to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Black dodges the punch combination from Alves.
Alves looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.

Black lands a nice leg kick that just misses Alves's sensitive parts.
Alves is looking to wear down Black with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Black. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Alves takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Black's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
