Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shacka Fardul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang moves out of range of the leg kick from Fardul.
Fardul defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wang.
Fardul tries to clinch but Wang is having none of it.
Wang throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wang fails with a takedown attempt.
Fardul drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fardul lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fardul in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Wang is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wang prevents Fardul from moving into mount.
Fardul stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and Fardul counters with a shoot takedown. Wang fights it but they end up in guard.
Fardul throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fardul controls from within his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fardul trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fardul is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fardul has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wang keeping full guard, as Fardul tries to pass.
Fardul gets to his feet - Wang follows without any prompting.

Fardul darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fardul controlling the pace.
Fardul has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Fardul thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Fardul gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Wang looks gassed!

Fardul shoots in but no luck this time.
Wang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fardul counters with a big head kick but Wang shrugs it off.
Shacka Fardul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Wang.
Wang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fardul tries to avoid it but Wang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fardul to the ground. Fardul escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fardul clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wang is trying to push Fardul away but Fardul has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Fardul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fardul throws a wild body kick that Wang sees coming a mile off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wang enables Fardul to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fardul slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shacka Fardul dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fardul rushes Wang and presses him up against the cage.
Wang is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fardul pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Fardul looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Wang fails to pull guard.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Fardul tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fardul has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wang after a bit of a struggle.
Wang keeps control of Fardul as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Wang is trying to pull guard but Fardul has him pressed against the cage.
Shacka Fardul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Wang.
Fardul breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wang doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fardul counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fardul won't allow Wang to sweep him here.
Fardul controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wang looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fardul passes into half guard.
Fardul winds up and cracks Wang with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fardul with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fardul has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fardul controlling from the full mount.
Fardul lands a big shot there that rocks Wang but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fardul looking for a guillotine from mount but Wang is having none of it.

Wang is looking to improve his position but Fardul isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fardul cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fardul content just to control the position here.
Wang reaches up to try and control the position but Fardul seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Wang rolls and tries to escape and now Fardul has his back!
Fardul has the hooks in. Wang is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fardul has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Wang's body.
Shacka Fardul overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fardul patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fardul working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Wang is doing well to defend. Fardul seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Wang is forced to tap and this one is over!
