Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eskobar Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yushi Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takahashi has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eskobar Andersson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yushi Takahashi! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Takahashi did well to prevent Andersson getting side control. Takahashi looks gassed! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Andersson wants to free his trapped foot but Takahashi is holding on for dear life with his legs. Takahashi is defending against the submission attempts here by Andersson.
Andersson passes the guard and advances to mount! Andersson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Andersson controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takahashi avoids a series of strikes thrown by Andersson.
Andersson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Andersson is working for a guillotine from mount but Takahashi frees his head quite easily.
Andersson has control of Takahashi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Takahashi regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Andersson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Andersson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takahashi on the ground. Andersson controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Andersson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Andersson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Takahashi has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Andersson controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson thowing shots but they're missing. Andersson working for a guillotine from mount but Takahashi is in no mood to give up. Andersson takes Takahashi's back. Andersson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Takahashi has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Andersson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Takahashi! Can he survive? No! He's out! Andersson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
