Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Jensen has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dennis Wise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jensen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wise looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wise looks for a takedown but Jensen sprawls well.
Jensen connects with a crisp jab.

Wise closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jensen to the mat! Jensen manages to get full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jensen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wise sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Jensen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wise stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jensen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jensen slips a jab and a cross from Wise.
Wise shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jensen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jensen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jensen missing with a left hand there. Wise was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dennis Wise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Wise with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Wise. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wise takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.


It looks like Dennis Wise has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jensen connects with a right hand. Wise shakes it off.
Jensen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wise is breathing heavily.
Jensen looks to throw the jab but Wise is out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wise!
Wise on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jensen throws out a loose jab but Wise uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jensen throws a hook but Wise avoids it easily.

Wise shoots in and bounces Jensen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wise trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wise is fighting to break Jensen's control of his arms but Jensen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Wise trying to control the position from guard on top but Jensen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jensen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wise manages to get himself to full guard.
Jensen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jensen stays in close to Wise's body and controls the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wise working for a triangle but Jensen defends it easily.
Wise lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jensen!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jensen wants to hold on but Wise pushes him away.
Wise prevents Jensen from getting the reversal.
Wise scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jensen is looking to improve his position but Wise isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jensen tries to hold on but Wise postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Jensen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dennis Wise's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jensen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wise throws a series of punches but Jensen moves out of range.
Wise throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jensen's waist but Jensen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wise off to one side.
Jensen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wise on the side of the head.
Jensen lands a head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wise smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Peter Jensen has been cut.
Jensen lands a nice shot to the body.
A shot to the liver by Jensen. Beautiful body shot.
Jensen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jensen fakes the body blow, causing Wise to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Wise goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Jensen!
