Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klaus Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krause has chosen How Much Is The Fish as his entrance music. Klaus Krause acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Charles Skarbowsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Klaus Krause! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krause tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skarbowsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Krause. Skarbowsky feints a jab promting Krause to slip. Skarbowsky then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Krause slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Skarbowsky lands an overhand right. Skarbowsky tries to clinch up but Krause circles away and keeps his distance. Krause throws a body punch but Skarbowsky moves out of range. Krause throws out a loose jab but Skarbowsky uses good head movement to avoid it. Good leg kick by Skarbowsky there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Skarbowsky goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Klaus Krause has been cut. Krause throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Krause throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Skarbowsky counters with a leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Skarbowsky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Krause misses with a straight right. Krause misses with a wild body shot. Skarbowsky pushes Krause up against the cage in a clinch. Skarbowsky lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Skarbowsky trying to control the position but instead, Krause has worked for underhooks and has pushed Skarbowsky into the cage. Skarbowsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krause throws a jab when Skarbowsky was well out of range. Skarbowsky moves out of range as Krause strikes. Krause throws a body punch but Skarbowsky moves out of range. Krause loads up on a big right hand but Skarbowsky slips the punch. Skarbowsky fails in his attempt to clinch. Krause misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skarbowsky.
Skarbowsky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Skarbowsky lands with an uppercut that bounces Krause off the cage and back into range. Krause gets tackled into the cage by Skarbowsky. Skarbowsky maintains the clinch. Krause with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Skarbowsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Skarbowsky uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Krause. Skarbowsky slips under a jab from Krause. A looping hook to the body misses from Krause. Skarbowsky does a little dance to reset his feet. Krause fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skarbowsky manages to avoid it. Krause throws a poor cross that misses
and Skarbowsky counters with a thumping low kick. Krause takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krause misses with a series of wild punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krause just misses with a punch to the body.
Krause takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Krause has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skarbowsky. Nice cross by Skarbowsky. Krause throws a hook but Skarbowsky blocks it. Skarbowsky fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Good shot there by Skarbowsky. A slow jab from Krause misses its intended target. Krause looks to score with a jab to the body but Skarbowsky is just out of range. Krause throws a jab but it's blocked by Skarbowsky. Klaus Krause seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krause fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skarbowsky manages to avoid it. Krause ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Skarbowsky moves away. Skarbowsky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krause.
Skarbowsky works Krause's body with a nice hook. Skarbowsky lands a lovely overhand right.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krause tries to bum rush Skarbowsky with a series of wild strikes but Skarbowsky uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Skarbowsky slips a jab and a cross from Krause.
Krause scores with a jab to the jaw. Skarbowsky thows a body kick. Krause tries to catch it but that hurt him. Krause blocks the body kick.
A combination from Krause does no damage. Skarbowsky lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Skarbowsky fails in his attempt to clinch. Krause swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Krause will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Krause looks to land a combination but Skarbowsky avoids it well. Skarbowsky scores with a nice body kick.
Krause looks gassed! Skarbowsky throws out a powerful jab.
That has opened up Klaus Krause's cut even more. Krause throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skarbowsky. Krause takes a swing at Skarbowsky's ribcage but misses. Krause thows a body shot but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krause looks to land a left hand but Skarbowsky moved out of range nicely. Krause gets tackled into the cage by Skarbowsky. Skarbowsky maintains the clinch. Skarbowsky is pushing Krause up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Skarbowsky using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Krause has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Skarbowsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Skarbowsky blocks a jab. A chopping leg kick lands by Skarbowsky. Jean Charles Skarbowsky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice defenses there by Skarbowsky. A big left from Krause misses. Krause misses with a looping left. Skarbowsky closes the distance and clinches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A head punch on the inside from Krause fails to land. Skarbowsky blocking some punches.
Krause tries to break free but Skarbowsky pushes him back against the cage. Krause misses with a shot to the kidneys.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Charles Skarbowsky dominated that round. The cut man is working on Klaus Krause's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Skarbowsky pushes Krause up against the cage in a clinch. Skarbowsky landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Krause tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Skarbowsky's elbow. Skarbowsky tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Krause avoids it. Skarbowsky with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Skarbowsky breaks from the clinch.
Skarbowsky misses with a body kick. The fighters circling - Krause throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Krause walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Krause closes the distance and clinches up with Skarbowsky, looking for a takedown. Krause pushes Skarbowsky against the cage but Skarbowsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jean Charles Skarbowsky is winning the standup battle so far. Krause misses with a hook. Skarbowsky ducked under it nicely. Skarbowsky scores with a jab to the head.

Skarbowsky lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Skarbowsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Krause throws out the jab. Skarbowsky connects with a good right hand that stumbles Krause. Krause circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Krause takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Krause dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice cross by Skarbowsky. Krause shoots for a double leg takedown but Skarbowsky sprawls well. He's pushed Krause's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Krause is breathing heavily. A thudding body kick lands there by Skarbowsky!

The cut above Klaus Krause's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Skarbowsky has Krause up against the cage in a clinch.
Krause is still on wobbly legs! Can Skarbowsky finish him? Skarbowsky has Krause pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Krause is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Skarbowsky - that's hurt Krause badly! Oh, another knee lands and Krause is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Krause doesn't seem to be complaining.
