Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Leroix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerry Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leroix comes to the ring accompanied by Jump you f***** jump. Lawson has chosen Decapitated -Post Organic as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroix just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Lawson. Those never looked like landing.
Leroix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lawson was well out of range. Poor timing from Leroix.

Lawson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leroix stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Leroix creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lawson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lawson. Leroix does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leroix is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Leroix fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawson manages to avoid it.

Lawson throws a jab but it's blocked by Leroix.
Leroix is looking to wear down Lawson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lawson swings for the body but Leroix moves out of range.
Leroix tries to clinch there but Lawson circles away.
Lawson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Leroix takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lawson stalks Leroix and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Leroix's face. Leroix staggers backwards, shaken.

Leroix connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lawson's hands.
Leroix defending well as Lawson loads up on a big left hand.
Leroix needs to keep his hands up - Lawson had a free shot at his head there.

Leroix is rocked!

Ricardo Leroix's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Lawson cracks Leroix with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Leroix tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lawson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Leroix is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kerry Lawson! Kerry Lawson retains his heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Kerry Lawson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
