Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phineus Gage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Leissner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gage comes to the ring accompanied by Mac Lethal - Black Widow Spider . Leissner has chosen Feuer Frei as his entrance music. Phineus Gage had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leissner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Gage is desperately trying to improve his position but Leissner has a good base and remains in mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee warns Gage that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Leissner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Leissner dives in and grabs Gage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gage pushes down on Leissner's head and hops out.

Leissner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gage but Gage pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Phineus Gage is winning the standup battle so far.
Gage lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Leissner up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Gage from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Leissner's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phineus Gage!
Our winner, Phineus Gage, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
