Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tatanka Stag! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Kaiser! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stag is defended easily by Kaiser. Stag shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kaiser as he jumps to the side. Stag has his takedown stuffed and Kaiser counters with a nice body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatanka Stag. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stag shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaiser pinned against the ropes. Kaiser gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Both fighters circling a little - Kaiser finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kaiser throws a head kick that misses. Kaiser lands a nice looking kick to the body. Stag takes a step back to recover. Nice sprawl there from Kaiser as Stag shoots in. A head kick misses from Kaiser. Kaiser misses with a head kick.

Stag avoids the head kick by Kaiser.
Stag shoots in but no luck this time. Kaiser slaps away a takedown attempt from Stag, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kaiser throws a sloppy head kick and Stag moves out of range easily. Kaiser is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stag shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Stag drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kaiser manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stag has Kaiser in his guard. Stag is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kaiser tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stag.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stag is looking for a sweep. Kaiser is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stag gets back to full guard.
Stag working for a triangle but Kaiser defends it easily.
Stag working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaiser doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Stag is tightening it up a little... Kaiser has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kaiser reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kaiser taps out! Nice BJJ there by Stag!
