Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasil Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Dabkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasil Boyko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lukasz Dabkowski!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyko closes the distance and clinches.

Dabkowski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boyko pulls his leg out and moves away.

Horrible takedown by Boyko or perhaps it was just good defense by Dabkowski which made him look bad.

Dabkowski is looking to control Boyko's arms but Boyko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dabkowski has his back to the cage.
Boyko is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dabkowski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boyko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dabkowski, into his guard.

Dabkowski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boyko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boyko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boyko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dabkowski is proving hard to escape from.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Boyko tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dabkowski just stands there and leans against the cage.
