Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Spider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Wise! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spider throws a head kick that misses. Wise closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Spider manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Wise throwing shots but Spider is blocking nicely. Wise has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Spider is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wise wants to control but Spider is keeping him busy. Spider wants to improve his position but Wise is controlling well.
Wise decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Spider lands a jab-cross combination. Spider slips a jab and a cross from Wise.
Spider tries to bum rush Wise with a series of wild strikes but Wise uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Spider is breathing heavily. Spider throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wise tries to clinch up but Spider circles away and keeps his distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Wise feints and as Spider raises his hands in defense, Wise changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wise is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wise gets to his feet - Spider follows without any prompting. Wise wants to clinch. Spider tries to clinch up but Wise circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wise gets the takedown into side control. Wise in side control lands a decent elbow. Spider is looking for a sweep. Wise fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Wise landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Spider tries to get back to half guard but can't. Spider trying his best to control but Wise has mounted him. Spider keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Spider tries to buck Wise off but he can't manage it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wise tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The referee warns Spider that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Spider is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wise connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spider is in all sorts of trouble here.
Spider manages to regain half guard. Good work. Wise sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Spider defending well though. Wise seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Spider is trying to stand up here but Wise is controlling him well. Wise looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Spider is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wise scores with a couple of nice shots. Wise working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Wise working over Spider with some ground and pound. Spider looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wise seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wise decides to stand up. Wise darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Wise tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Wise is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Spider is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wise working over Spider with some ground and pound. Spider looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wise looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wise escapes and gets back to his feet. Spider lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Wise sprawling to the canvas. Spider follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Wise hang on?
Wise is rocked!
It looks like Dennis Wise has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Spider sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wise is still in real trouble! Can Spider finish him? Spider is thwarting Wise's attempts to control the position. Wise seems to have recovered his senses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wise wants to improve his position but Spider is controlling well.
Wise works his way to full guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Wise dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dennis Wise's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Spider gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wise connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Spider scores with a spinning back kick! Wise keeps the fight on the outside. Spider shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wise pinned against the cage. Wise gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wise gets a takedown into half guard. Wise working the head and body with strikes. Wise is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Spider defends it well. Spider tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Spider is looking to control Wise's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Spider avoid being mounted? Wise is breathing heavily. That's one minute gone in the round. Spider trying to hold on to Wise's head to control him but Wise postures up.
Wise is looking to take a break and control but Spider is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wise misses with a hook. Spider ducked under it nicely. Wise fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spider connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Spider misses with a takedown attempt - Wise sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Spider. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spider avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Wise. Spider takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Spider is rocked! Wise has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Spider is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wise yanks on the arm and Spider is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wise.
