The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombs decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hug tries to kick Bombs off but Bombs keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hug wants to improve his position but Bombs is controlling well.
Bombs is trying to control the action in half guard but Hug is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bombs is controlling the pace.
Bombs not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hug wants to get back to full guard.
Bombs wants to take a breather but Hug is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hug is squirming around, avoiding Bombs's attempts to control the action.

Bombs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bombs cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bombs lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hug wants to hold on but Bombs pushes him away.
Hug looks gassed!
Bombs controlling the pace for now.
Bombs lands a big shot there that rocks Hug but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hug defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bombs.
Bombs looking to control but Hug is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bombs lands with some strikes.

Bombs landing strikes from the mount and Hug is in trouble!
Bombs goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hug is on top in guard.
Hug trying to control the position from guard on top but Bombs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bombs pushes Hug off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bombs clinches up against the ropes.

Bombs jumps guard.
Bombs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hug gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bombs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kano Bombs dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hug misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bombs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hug but Hug pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hug throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bombs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bombs moves into full mount!

Bombs goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hug turns into him and now he's in Bombs's guard.
Hug won't allow Bombs to get back to his feet.
Bombs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bombs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kano Bombs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bombs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hug!
Bombs is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hug can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bombs controlling the pace for now.
The referee warns Hug that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bombs loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hug scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bombs land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bombs stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kano Bombs!
