Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sameer Hamadoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yin Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamadoui kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lights Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sameer Hamadoui! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yin Hong! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hong fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hamadoui to the ground. Hong is now in Hamadoui's guard. Hong stops Hamadoui from standing up. Hong looking to pass the guard. Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Hamadoui is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hong trying to move into half guard but instead Hamadoui has managed to sweep! Hong is trying to control the position but Hamadoui postures up. Hamadoui looking to pass the guard. Hamadoui won't allow Hong to sweep him here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hong is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hamadoui stands and steps away. Hong gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hamadoui shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hong eats them both and turns towards Hamadoui to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hong scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hong tries to keep at a distance but Hamadoui has taken the fight into the clinch. Hamadoui breaks the clinch.
Hamadoui shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hamadoui was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hong is trying to escape the mount.
Hong is in a horrible position here. Hamadoui smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hamadoui connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hamadoui raining down hammerfists from mount. Hamadoui has hold of Hong's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hong manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hong is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hong in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Hong tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hamadoui has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hong's face.
Hamadoui goes for an armbar but Hong turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hong. Hong drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hamadoui dives on top into guard. Hong looks gassed! Hamadoui distracts Hong with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hong keeping moving, preventing Hamadoui from controlling successfully. Hong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamadoui drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hong dives on top into guard. Hong won't allow Hamadoui to get back to his feet. Hamadoui is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The referee calls for Hong to work.
Hong stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Hong tries to break the clinch but Hamadoui is controlling the position. Hamadoui keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hong's efforts to push away. Hamadoui is trying to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamadoui blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hamadoui has him pressed against the ropes. Hamadoui pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hong is defended easily by Hamadoui. Hong shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hong has a takedown stuffed. Hong on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hamadoui tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hamadoui is looking to clinch but Hong is avoiding it.
Hong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hong looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hamadoui escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hamadoui defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hong. Hamadoui lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Hong misses with a takedown attempt - Hamadoui sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sameer Hamadoui is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hong blocks a head kick by Hamadoui.
Hamadoui throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hong tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hamadoui is in Hong's guard. Hong trying to keep a closed guard but Hamadoui is proving a slippery customer.
Hong has momentary wrist control but Hamadoui slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hong keeping moving, preventing Hamadoui from controlling successfully. Hamadoui is looking to work some ground and pound but Hong has wrist control. Hong is trying to keep Hamadoui in close.
Hamadoui drops back looking for a leg! Hong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hong manages to kick Hamadoui off! Hamadoui jumps back into Hong's guard. Hong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hamadoui defends it easily. Hong is breathing heavily. Hamadoui cracks Hong with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hamadoui doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hamadoui manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hamadoui scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hamadoui drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hamadoui jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hamadoui postures up and lands a big shot to Hong's brow. Hamadoui wants to control from the top but Hong keeps moving. Hong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hamadoui is aware though and is defending well. Hong looking to control.

Hamadoui is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hamadoui postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hamadoui stands up from guard. Let's bang! Hong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jab, jab by Hamadoui - just one landing. Hong shoots in but no luck this time. Sameer Hamadoui has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yin Hong. A right-left combo lands from Hamadoui. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hamadoui thuds a left hand into Hong's body. Hamadoui looks to land a combination but Hong avoids it well. Hamadoui throws a nice head kick!

Hong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hamadoui's guard. Hamadoui pushes Hong off and scrambles back to his feet.
Hamadoui fails in his attempt to clinch. Hamadoui shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hong is trying to defend but Hamadoui finishes it well and ends up in half guard. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hamadoui can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hamadoui has gone for a leg lock! Hong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hamadoui's guard. Hamadoui is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hong is controlling him.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hamadoui's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hamadoui can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hong is looking for a triangle but Hamadoui pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamadoui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hamadoui works over Hong with some ground and pound from guard. Hong is working an open guard so Hamadoui takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hamadoui closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hong did well to prevent Hamadoui getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hamadoui scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hong taking some punishment here, with Hamadoui in his half guard. Hamadoui has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hamadoui maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hong could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hamadoui has cracked it and Hong is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hamadoui!
