Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin has chosen Hotel Califonia as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Franklin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Franklin!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ovechkin pinned against the cage. Ovechkin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ovechkin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Franklin is out of range and Ovechkin settles back down.
Franklin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Franklin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Ovechkin is looking to regain half guard here but Franklin keeps moving and retains side control.
Franklin wants to control but Ovechkin is keeping him busy.
Ovechkin is trying to get back to half guard.
Ovechkin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Franklin tries to pass to full mount but Ovechkin defends it.
Ovechkin wants to improve his position but Franklin is controlling well.

Ovechkin moves into full guard.
Ovechkin keeping full guard, as Franklin tries to pass.
Franklin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ovechkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ovechkin looking for a guillotine here but Franklin defends easily.
Franklin trying to control but Ovechkin is working from the bottom.

Franklin is looking to stand up but Ovechkin won't let him.
Ovechkin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ovechkin seems to be working for a kimura but Franklin defends the submission attempt.
Ovechkin is breathing heavily.
Ovechkin is trying for a kimura here. Franklin looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ovechkin wins by kimura!
