Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Barral! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barral shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Carlson is trying to defend but Barral finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carlson tries to get to full guard but Barral has control of the leg. Carlson is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Barral jumps into side control! A lull in the action here. Carlson wants to control but Barral postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson looking for a sweep but Barral has passed into full mount! Oh no! Barral moves to take his opponent's back. Carlson can't escape the position.
Carlson wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlson tries to escape but Barral has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Barral really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Carlson. Carlson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. I would not like to be Carlson right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carlson is trying to stand back up. Good control from Barral.

Renato Barral has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Barral shoots for a double leg takedown but Carlson sprawls well. He's pushed Barral's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Carlson tries to clinch up. Carlson has Barral up against the cage in a clinch.
Barral drags the fight down to the ground.

Renato Barral dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Barral stuffs the takedown. Tyrone Carlson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barral swats away the attempt to clinch by Carlson. Barral looks to land a combination but Carlson avoids it well. Barral misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barral fails with a takedown attempt. Carlson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Barral counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson tries to improve position but can't. Barral is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Carlson wants to control but Barral postures up. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Renato Barral wasn't active enough on the ground. Carlson with a lazy takedown attempt and Barral counters with a single leg into guard. Carlson didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyrone Carlson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carlson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Barral advances position into side control! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Barral taking a breather here. Carlson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Barral stalls from top position. Barral gets to mount! Carlson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carlson tries to control Barral's body but Barral pushes him off. Carlson squirms to his side and now Barral has his back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renato Barral showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Carlson rushes Barral and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Carlson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Barral just stands there and leans against the cage. Carlson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carlson misses with a kick to the body.
Barral looking to score a takedown here. Carlson is defending well but Barral drives through and ends up in Carlson's guard. Carlson wants to hit a switch here but Barral passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Carlson there! Carlson wants to control but Barral is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson is trying to reverse the position but instead Barral has taken his back - oops! I really don't envy Carlson right now.
Carlson wants to control his opponent's hands but Barral gets his hands free. Barral has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Carlson's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlson trying to control the action but Barral just sinks the hooks in.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Barral avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Carlson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Carlson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barral. Barral pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carlson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barral sprawls well. Barral wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Carlson gets slowly back to his feet. Barral looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Barral sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barral passes into half guard. Barral takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Renato Barral comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Barral winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
