Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raphael Stone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spencer Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raphael Stone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Fisher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fisher as he jumps to the side.
Stone tries to clinch but Fisher moves out of range.

Fisher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fisher is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Fisher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fisher tries to get out of the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Raphael Stone wasn't active enough on the ground.

Fisher is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Stone off. It looks like it's working - Stone slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Fisher displaying calm under pressure there.

Raphael Stone is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Raphael Stone.
Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
