Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tate's choice of entrance music: U got 2 know. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Silas Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Patrick Tate! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm lands the left hand. Tate shoots in for a takedown but Storm shows good takedown defense. Tate tries to score a power double leg takedown but Storm sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tate somewhat. Storm displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tate. Silas Storm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Tate. Storm misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tate.
Tate shoots for a double leg takedown but Storm sprawls well. He's pushed Tate's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Storm just misses with a punch to the body.
Tate slips a straight right by Storm. Storm throws a low kick but Tate avoids it. Patrick Tate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Storm connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tate's hands. Tate closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tate doesn't succeed with the takedown and Storm counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice sprawl there from Storm as Tate shoots in. Tate closes the distance and clinches up with Storm, looking for a takedown. Tate pushes Storm against the cage but Storm circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Storm scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tate looks gassed! Tate takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Storm throws a front kick aimed at Tate's knee but Tate avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tate takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Storm lands with a nice body punch. Tate chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Storm can pounce on him.
Storm scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Storm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Storm is nestled in close to Tate, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Storm controlling the action here. Storm prevents Tate from standing back up.

Tate is trying to stand up here but Storm is controlling him well. Storm is looking for a kimura but Tate is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Storm to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tate looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Storm looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Storm has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Tate is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Storm pulls his head out easily. Storm trying to mount his opponent but Tate defends it. Tate on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Tate is looking to control Storm's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tate avoid being mounted? Storm is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tate tries to kick Storm off but Storm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm lands strikes from half guard. Storm content to control rather than advance. Storm working over Tate with some ground and pound. Tate looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Tate looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Tate is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Storm pulls his head out easily. Storm wants to take a breather but Tate is having none of it. Storm seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Tate trying to control from the bottom.

Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! That's four minutes gone in the round. Tate is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Storm scores with a couple of nice shots. Storm wants to free his trapped foot but Tate is holding on for dear life with his legs. Storm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tate is just riding it out for now. Storm eventually gives up the hold. Tate pushes Storm off looking to stand but Storm dives back in and keeps control.

Storm tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tate knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Storm wants to control but Tate is keeping him busy. Storm seems to be working for a kimura but Tate defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silas Storm dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tate takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A big left from Storm misses. A jab from Storm does it's job there. Tate misses with a takedown attempt - Storm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tate changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Storm tries to avoid it but Tate manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Storm to the ground. Storm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tate wants to clinch. Patrick Tate is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tate slips under a jab from Storm. Tate fails to land the takedown. Silas Storm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Tate. Storm scores with a decent looking hook. Tate shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Storm is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tate can do to turn this around? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tate is trying to control. Storm wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Storm has his hands on Tate's head, controlling the position. Tate throwing strikes but missing. Storm working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tate. Storm seems keen to control Tate's posture. Tate wants to control from the top but Storm keeps moving. Tate prevents Storm from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Storm controlling the position. Tate loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Storm wants to get back to his feet but Tate is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tate pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Storm is keeping the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Silas Storm wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tate drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Storm wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Storm connects with a crisp jab. Storm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tate is breathing heavily. Tate can't do much from the bottom here. Storm taking a breather here. Storm wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tate keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tate wants to get back to his feet. Tate tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Storm wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tate is trying to control Storm's posture but Storm avoids it. Tate is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Storm has just dragged him back down to the mat. Storm is looking to take a break and control but Tate is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tate is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Storm asserts his dominance and retains side control. Storm landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm takes a little break here. Tate wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Storm working the ground and pound. Silas Storm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Storm scoring with punches from side control.
Tate is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Storm tries for a kimura but Tate is defending well. Tate is still in real trouble! Can Storm finish him? Storm working the ground and pound. Tate tries to escape but Storm is in control. Storm working the ground and pound from side control. Tate throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Storm throws a nice outside leg kick. Tate on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Tate glances at the clock... BAM! Storm nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Tate crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Tate is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Silas Storm! Silas Storm spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
