The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wally fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wally shoots in for a takedown but Cavalcante shows good takedown defense.
Cavalcante throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wally throws a looping overhand right but Cavalcante ducks down to avoid it.
Wally shoots in for a double leg but Cavalcante sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Junior Cavalcante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Wally.
Wally looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wally shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cavalcante as he avoids it easily.

Wally throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Cavalcante lands with an uppercut that bounces Wally off the cage and back into range.

Wally throws the kick towards the body but Cavalcante avoids it.

Eddy Wally seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
