Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribera scores with a jab.
Ribera looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ribera scores with a one two! Takashi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Ryu Takashi has been cut.
Manny Ribera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribera throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takashi counters with a two punch combo.
Ribera lands a jab-cross combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takashi.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ribera lands a nice hook to Takashi's body. Takashi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice straight punches there by Ribera. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ribera.

Takashi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Takashi is rocked!
Ribera throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Takashi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Takashi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Takashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Ribera finish him?
Takashi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ribera lands with a big left! Takashi is wobbled badly! Ribera comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Takashi to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Manny Ribera!
An intense looking Manny Ribera took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'What, what, in his butt!'.
