Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Great Idiot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones scores with a takedown into Idiot's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Idiot tries to strike from the bottom.
Idiot thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Idiot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Idiot throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Idiot looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
Idiot keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Idiot throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Idiot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.
It looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by King Jones.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jab, jab by Jones - just one landing.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones cracks Idiot with a big right hand but Idiot just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jones connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Idiot some visible discomfort.
Idiot is trying to escape the position but Jones is controlling the position.

King Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Idiot's temple.

Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control.
Jones is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

King Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
