Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pychu Reja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krzysztof Slodzinski! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slodzinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reja moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Reja works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Slodzinski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reja as he jumps to the side. Reja bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Reja shoots in looking for a takedown but Slodzinski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reja's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Slodzinski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slodzinski wants it to stay on the feet. Reja looks for a takedown but Slodzinski sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pychu Reja. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slodzinski as he avoids it easily. Reja misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It looks like Krzysztof Slodzinski has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Slodzinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reja moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Reja misses with a double jab.

Reja drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slodzinski is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Reja asserts his dominance and retains side control. Reja wants to stand but Slodzinski is controlling his arm. Reja controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slodzinski regains half guard, as Reja was trying to land strikes. Slodzinski kicks Reja off and gets back to his feet. Slodzinski just misses with a punch to the body.
Reja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slodzinski pinned against the cage. Slodzinski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reja fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Reja stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reja wants it to stay on the feet. Slodzinski works Reja's body with a nice hook. Slodzinski fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reja takes a shot right to the bread basket. Slodzinski shoots in for a takedown but Reja shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pychu Reja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slodzinski looks to land a combination. Reja sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Slodzinski tries to work over Reja's front leg with a kick but Reja checks it. Slodzinski takes a body punch but keeps moving. Slodzinski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reja defends it nicely. No joy there for Reja, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown by Reja or perhaps it was just good defense by Slodzinski which made him look bad. Reja doesn't succeed with the takedown and Slodzinski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nice takedown defense from Reja. No joy for Slodzinski on that attempt. Reja really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Excellent takedown into side control there by Reja. Reja in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slodzinski has one of Reja's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Slodzinski is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Reja has just dragged him back down to the mat. Reja tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Slodzinski struggling a bit here. Reja will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Slodzinski keeping his opponent close. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pychu Reja dominated that round. The cut man is working on Krzysztof Slodzinski's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Reja looking to score a takedown here. Slodzinski is defending well but Reja drives through and ends up in Slodzinski's guard. Reja tries to stand but Slodzinski is controlling from the bottom. Reja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slodzinski on the ground. Reja is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Slodzinski trying to keep a closed guard but Reja is proving a slippery customer.
Slodzinski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Reja trying to control the position from guard on top but Slodzinski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pychu Reja has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Reja is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slodzinski scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reja in his tracks. Reja misses with the combination.
Pychu Reja is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Slodzinski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reja. Slodzinski fails to land the takedown. Reja throws a shot from downtown. Slodzinski moves away and avoids it. Slodzinski throws a lazy right hand but Reja sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reja drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Pychu Reja overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Slodzinski seems keen to control Reja's posture. Slodzinski pushes Reja off and gets back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Slodzinski shoots in and drives through. Reja sprawls well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reja fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pychu Reja. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reja misses with a double jab.

Nice takedown defense from Reja. No joy for Slodzinski on that attempt. Reja lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Reja shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slodzinski defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Slodzinski.
Reja ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Slodzinski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Slodzinski.
Reja keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Reja closes the distance and pushes Slodzinski back into the cage. Reja jumps guard but Slodzinski stands there with Reja around his waist. Reja gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Slodzinski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Reja takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reja tries to clinch but Slodzinski moves out of range. Reja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Slodzinski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Slodzinski misses the target. Slodzinski looks to land a combination but Reja avoids it well. Reja dives in and scores a takedown into Slodzinski's guard. Slodzinski looking for a guillotine here but Reja defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slodzinski is looking for a triangle but Reja pushes his legs off easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Pychu Reja will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Krzysztof Slodzinski's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Reja has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Slodzinski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Reja is riding his opponent, not letting Slodzinski buck him off. Slodzinski turns into Reja and is now in his guard.
Slodzinski sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reja's guard. Reja is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reja trying to control here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slodzinski is trying for a kimura here. Reja looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Slodzinski wins by kimura!
