The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedorov tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brown scoring well with a low kick there.

Fedorov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brown is trying to defend but Fedorov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fedorov has hold of Brown's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brown manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fedorov has control of Brown's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brown regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brown sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Brown connects with a single shot there.
Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fedorov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fedorov somewhat.

Brown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brown wants it to stay on the feet.

and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Brown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fedorov is working away from the top position though.

Fedorov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fedorov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Brown tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fedorov is posturing up here but Brown has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fedorov tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fedorov has to tap! Slick submission there by Brown!
