Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Rush - Limelight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones is thwarting Adams's attempts to control the position.
Jones passes to side control.
Adams tries to improve position but can't.
Adams can't do much from the bottom here.

Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Adams manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adams is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!

I really don't envy Adams right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adams isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Adams on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Jones lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Adams down.

Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ted Jones just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Jones will probably get the nod.

Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Adams counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

and Adams counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Adams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
