Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noburo Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockin Rolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noburo Kobayashi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi takes the fight into the clinch.
Kobayashi tries for a takedown but Rolla manages to get underhooks.
Rolla has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kobayashi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rolla is pressed up against the cage. Kobayashi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rolla down to the mat. Rolla avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kobayashi.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noburo Kobayashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Kobayashi or perhaps it was just good defense by Rolla which made him look bad.
Rockin Rolla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kobayashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rolla swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rolla accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rolla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kobayashi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rolla is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kobayashi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rolla's back instead.
Rolla tries to roll but Kobayashi sticks to his back.

Kobayashi drops back looking for a leg! Rolla is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rolla manages to kick Kobayashi off! Kobayashi jumps back into Rolla's guard.

Kobayashi is pressing down on Rolla's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rolla is holding on for now.
Kobayashi wants to take a breather but Rolla is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kobayashi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Kobayashi moves into full mount! Rolla won't be happy about that!

Kobayashi seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rolla is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
