Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rasputin Radiulnarbreak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rafael Gracie! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Radiulnarbreak closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gracie did well to prevent Radiulnarbreak getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Radiulnarbreak is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. Radiulnarbreak wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs. Still in half guard, Radiulnarbreak seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie actively working from the bottom here. Radiulnarbreak is taking a breather. Gracie says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Radiulnarbreak seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
It looks like Rafael Gracie has been cut. Radiulnarbreak working Gracie over with strikes.
That has opened up Rafael Gracie's cut even more. Radiulnarbreak looks to score some points with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Radiulnarbreak scoring with strikes to the body and head.
The cut above Rafael Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Radiulnarbreak winds up and cracks Gracie with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Gracie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Radiulnarbreak scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Gracie is rocked!
Rafael Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rafael Gracie's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
