The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Quick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Krukiov is looking to improve his position but Quick isn't that keen on the idea.
Quick controlling the pace for now.
Quick lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Krukiov working to try and regain half guard.
Krukiov is working hard here to advance position.
Quick lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Krukiov is rocked!
BOOM! Quick connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Krukiov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Quick wants to stand but Quick is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Quick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krukiov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Quick looks gassed!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Quick is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krukiov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krukiov seems to have got his legs back now.
Quick prevents Krukiov from getting the reversal.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Krukiov regains half guard.

Krukiov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Quick trying to control the position from guard on top but Krukiov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Quick has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Krukiov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Quick is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Krukiov pulls down on the head and he's put Quick to sleep! This one is all over!
