Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Bravado could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Levi Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Bravado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Levi Jones!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravado looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.
Jones moves away from the strike by Bravado.
Jones scores with a hook.
Bravado tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Bravado tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bravado misses with a straight right.
Bravado fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bravado checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bravado takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bravado needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jones.
Bravado takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jones fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bravado is out of range.
Horrible takedown by Bravado or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Bravado. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
Bravado shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Bravado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones is trying to get back to his feet.

Bravado swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bravado's guard.
Bravado is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bravado tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jones stands and steps away. Bravado gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bravado moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Bravado shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bravado wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Bravado postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bravado, into his guard.
Bravado had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bravado Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead.
Bravado is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jones is defending well though. Bravado let's go of the attempt for now.

Jones controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Bravado working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bravado is working for a rear naked choke. Jones is not defending it well and Bravado has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jones refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jones's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Eddie Bravado!
