Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Ovaltrades! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Raymond Chow! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ovaltrades fails with the takedown. Chow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ovaltrades is trying to control Chow's posture but Chow avoids it. An elbow from Chow crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ovaltrades is trying to improve his position. Ovaltrades can't do much from the bottom here. Ovaltrades tries to bench press Chow off him but Chow keeps the position. Chow is looking to take a break and control but Ovaltrades is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ovaltrades is looking for a sweep.

Ovaltrades is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chow pulls his head out easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chow working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Ovaltrades's thigh. Ovaltrades counters though and makes it back to full guard. Chow is working Ovaltrades over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chow drops back looking for a leg! Ovaltrades is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ovaltrades manages to kick Chow off! Chow jumps back into Ovaltrades's guard. Ovaltrades has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ovaltrades ducks under a wild hook from Chow. Chow looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Chow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ovaltrades's head.

Ovaltrades is controlling Chow's trapped leg to prevent Chow from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chow cracks Ovaltrades with a solid left hand. Ovaltrades utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Chow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ovaltrades looking to control.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ovaltrades's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chow wants to free his trapped foot but Ovaltrades is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ovaltrades slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ovaltrades tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chow throws a big elbow that misses. Chow tries to free his leg and advance position but Ovaltrades is retaining full guard.
