Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rello Tug!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Vims!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vims lands an overhand right.
Vims dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vims lands a jab to the nose.
Vims looks to score with a jab to the body but Tug is just out of range.
Vims stuffs the takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vims. Tug does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tug shoots in looking for a takedown but Vims manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tug's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vims misses the shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vims lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Vims thows a body shot but no joy.
Vims tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tug was well out of range. Poor timing from Vims.
Vims is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tug rather than just go for the knockout.
Vims connects with a body shot that sends Tug's belly button to the back.
Tug is breathing heavily.
Vims throws a nice looking combination but Tug bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vims looks to land a combination but Tug avoids it well.
Tug doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vims jabs at Tug's body.
Vims wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Vims lands with a nice body punch.
Nice body punch from Vims.
Vims fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Vims lands a left and a right that send Tug crashing to the mat, dazed. Vims thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Tug is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vims stuns Tug with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oh Tug is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vims comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vims punishes Tug's body with a nice straight punch.
Tug is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Vims doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Tug crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Tug's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paul Vims!
A relieved looking Paul Vims thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
