Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Glutamine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gael Thibodaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glutamine comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodaux shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Glutamine's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Glutamine looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Glutamine is trying to keep Thibodaux in close.
Glutamine pulls Thibodaux in close to prevent any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thibodaux tries to free his leg and advance position but Glutamine is retaining full guard.
Glutamine is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Thibodaux frees his head nicely. Oh but Glutamine has switched to an armbar! Thibodaux is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
