And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Sands!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sands misses with a head kick.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Smith closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sands to the mat! Sands manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smith connects with a couple of short punches.
Sands really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sands wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sands is looking to stand up but Smith isn't so interested in that idea.
