Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Ganso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ganso kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dont stop Believing. Mendes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Roy Jones - Can't be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganso is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mendes's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Mendes works his way to full guard. Good work.
Mendes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mendes wants to sweep here but Ganso controlling him for the moment.
Ganso got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mendes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ganso has managed to get both his arms back between Mendes's legs - danger averted.
Ganso won't allow Mendes to sweep him here.
Mendes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ganso passes into half guard.
Mendes looks gassed!
Ganso has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mendes defend it? Ganso steps over the head and cranks it - Mendes is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ganso!
