The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freitas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kljajic takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Freitas closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kljajic is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Freitas's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Freitas is looking to escape.
Kljajic throwing shots but Freitas is blocking nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Freitas tries to kick Kljajic off in order to stand up. Kljajic Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Kljajic has hold of Freitas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Freitas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kljajic cranks the arm and Freitas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Freitas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
