Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorin Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin comes to the cage accompanied by TURISAS - Rasputin. Odinson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I will not bow (Breaking Benjamine) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thorin Odinson! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin closes the distance and clinches up with Odinson, looking for a takedown. Rasputin pushes Odinson against the cage but Odinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Odinson connects with a crisp jab. Rasputin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rasputin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Odinson wants to clinch up but Rasputin keeps it at a distance. Odinson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rasputin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Odinson connects with a jab. Odinson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Odinson is trying to push Rasputin away but Rasputin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Odinson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Odinson tries to break free but Rasputin pushes him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin wants to get back to striking at distance but Odinson won't allow it.

Odinson working hard to break the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Odinson throws an elbow but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin prevents Odinson from breaking the clinch. Odinson tries to circle away but Rasputin has him pinned against the cage. Odinson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Odinson is trying to break the clinch but Rasputin has him pressed against the cage. Odinson misses with a knee strike.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Odinson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Odinson is looking to clinch. Rasputin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rasputin works Odinson's body with a nice hook. Rasputin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Odinson sprawling to the canvas! Odinson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rasputin finish him?!
It looks like Thorin Odinson has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Odinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Rasputin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rasputin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Thorin Odinson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Odinson doesn't manage to clinch there - Rasputin circles away.
Thorin Odinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Odinson throws a body kick that misses. Odinson tries to clinch up and Odinson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Odinson looks to clinch and Rasputin counters with a double leg that slams his opponent to the canvas! Odinson is in trouble here! Rasputin pounds away until the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin! Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
