Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Sad Sak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Steller!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Steller just misses with a punch to the body.
Steller throws an overhand right that lands on Sak's shoulder, as Sak tries to avoid the shot.
Steller throws a lazy uppercut
and Sak counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sak has his takedown stuffed
enabling Steller to counter with a crisp jab.
Sak moves away from the strike by Steller.
Sak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Steller defends it nicely.
Sak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sad Sak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed right hand from Steller misses the target.
Steller throws a leg kick

and Sak counters with a nice double leg into side control. Steller won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sak working the strikes but Steller uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Sak thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Sak throws a strike but Steller avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Steller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Steller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sak trying to control the position from guard on top but Steller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sak throws a big elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sak in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sak dives in and grabs Steller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Steller pushes down on Sak's head and hops out.
Steller is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Steller misses with a series of wild punches.
Sak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Steller counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mac Steller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Steller gets caught napping as Sak dives in and scores a takedown. Steller manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sak trying to control the position from guard on top but Steller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sad Sak.
Steller misses with a straight left.
Steller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Steller throws a predictable looking body shot

and Sak counters with a single leg into guard. Steller didn't expect that.
Sak looking to sit in guard and control but Steller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Steller wants to get up but he can't break Sak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Steller decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steller pinned against the cage. Steller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sak dodges the punch combination from Steller.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steller loads up on a big right hand but Sak slips the punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sad Sak dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Steller misses with a low kick.
A cross from Steller lands.
Sak shoots in looking for a takedown but Steller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Steller swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sad Sak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sak checks a low kick from Steller.
Sak takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Steller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mac Steller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sak staying out of range there.
Steller throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steller swings for the body but Sak moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Steller. Those never looked like landing.
Nice takedown defense from Steller. No joy for Sak on that attempt.

Steller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sak was well out of range. Poor timing from Steller.

Sak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steller's guard.

Sak won't allow Steller to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sak shoots in for a takedown but Steller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sad Sak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sak tries for a takedown but Steller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sak drives through with a takedown into Steller's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Sak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sak thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steller's head.

Steller has one foot on Sak's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Steller is looking to land body kicks.
Sak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Steller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Steller lands with a nice combination. Sak backs away looking to recover.
A right-left combo lands from Steller.
Steller tries to score with a low kick but Sak moves his leg out of the way.
Steller throws a lazy right hand but Sak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Steller tests Sak's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Steller misses the jab.
Sak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steller swivels and escapes.
Sak fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sak's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Steller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sak scrambles back to his feet.
Steller throws a nice looking combination but Sak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sak wants to control from the top but Steller keeps moving.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sad Sak just wasn't active enough.
Sak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steller but Steller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Steller.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sad Sak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sak loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Mac Steller will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Steller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sak.

and Steller counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Steller enables Sak to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Steller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Steller cracks a nice hook into Sak's ribs.
Steller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steller thows a body shot but no joy.
Sak on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Steller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sak sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Steller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sak.
Steller throws a hook but Sak avoids it easily.
Sak shoots for a double leg takedown but Steller sprawls well. He's pushed Sak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steller looks to land a left hand but Sak moved out of range nicely.
A swing and a miss from Steller.
Horrible takedown by Sak or perhaps it was just good defense by Steller which made him look bad.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mac Steller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Steller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
