Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ansatsuken Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Ettish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ettish has chosen With Karate I'll Kick Your Ass as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ettish throws a head kick that misses.
Ettish throws a lazy head kick
and Ryu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ryu misses with a leg kick
and Ettish makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ryu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A low kick from Ryu misses
and Ettish counters with a stiff right hand.
Ryu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A clash of legs there as Ryu blocks the low kick.
Ryu lunges at Ettish with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ettish's hand.
Ryu throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Ettish to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ettish.
Ryu throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ettish counters with a body kick that stops Ryu in his tracks momentarily.
Ettish throws a right and a left that Ryu avoids nicely.
Ryu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ryu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ryu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Good work by Ettish as he checks the leg kick.
Ryu thumps Ettish with a low kick.
Ettish connects with a jab.
Ryu throws a front kick aimed at Ettish's knee but Ettish avoids it well.
Ettish takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Ettish lands a left and a right that send Ryu crashing to the mat, dazed. Ettish thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Ansatsuken Ryu has been cut.
Ryu is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ettish misses with an uppercut. Ryu saw that one coming.
Ryu looks to land a left hand but Ettish moved out of range nicely.
Ryu motions for Ettish to come forward. Ryu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ettish moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ettish throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ettish checks a leg kick.

Ryu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ettish has time to react.
Ryu is looking to score with low kicks.
Ryu feints and then cracks Ettish's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ettish down.

Ettish with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ryu to score with a decent uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Ettish misses the target.
Ryu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ryu throws a leg kick which misses Ettish's front leg but catches the back leg as Ettish tries to avoid it.
Ryu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ettish explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Ryu throws out a leg kick but Ettish moves out of range and Ryu only half commits.
Ettish lands a nice shot to the body.
Ryu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The fighters circling - Ryu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ryu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ettish can pounce on him.
Ettish lands a lovely overhand right.
Ettish fakes the leg kick and cracks Ryu in the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ettish connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ettish darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ettish bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ettish chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Ryu motions for Ettish to come forward. Ryu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ettish.

Ryu tries to move into range but Ettish moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Ansatsuken Ryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ettish misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ettish digs a good body shot into Ryu's ribs.
Ettish pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ettish lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ettish scores with a shot to the body.
Ryu checks the leg kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ettish is looking to land body kicks.

Ryu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ettish. That's going to slow Ryu down.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ettish lands a nice looking body shot.
A slow jab from Ettish misses its intended target.
Ettish lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ryu circles away quickly and effectively.
Oooooh!!! Ettish has knocked Ryu down with a huge combo! Ettish steps away and waves a wobbly Ryu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ryu on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ettish. Ettish obviously looking to wear him down.

Oh Ryu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ettish drops Ryu with a big left hand! Ryu is injured, injured bad! Ettish jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
