Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Doomsday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Tanner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Derek Doomsday! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanner shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Doomsday's guard. Doomsday looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tanner puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Doomsday trying to get back to full guard but Tanner takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Doomsday is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tanner raining down hammerfists from mount. Tanner is in the full mount, landing strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tanner prevents Doomsday from getting the reversal. Tanner with the ground and pound from mount. Tanner landing strikes, looking to finish! Tanner wants to control the pace but Doomsday is squirming around nicely. Doomsday is looking to improve his position but Tanner isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanner lands a big elbow.
It looks like Derek Doomsday has been cut. Doomsday tries to hold on but Tanner postures up. Doomsday takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Tanner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That has opened up Derek Doomsday's cut even more. Doomsday manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tanner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doomsday has hold of Tanner's hands but Tanner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Tanner is trying to control the action in half guard but Doomsday is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Doomsday blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tanner. Tanner is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Nice strikes from Tanner there.
The cut above Derek Doomsday's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doomsday is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tanner pulls his head out easily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nice strikes from Tanner there. Tanner looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Doomsday is rocked! Tanner winds up and cracks Doomsday with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Doomsday is still in real trouble! Can Tanner finish him? Tanner scores with a big shot! Doomsday's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Doomsday! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
