And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Werdum scores with a takedown into Goossens's guard.
Werdum drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Werdum jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Werdum postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Goossens is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Werdum, into his guard.
Werdum is looking to sinch up a triangle. Goossens throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Werdum's body to avoid the submission. Werdum has instead reached around Goossens's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Werdum arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
