Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fernando Wenskoski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pepper James!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wenskoski connects with a looping right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wenskoski closes the distance and clinches.
Wenskoski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but James is defending well.
Wenskoski is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables James to keep the fight standing.
James can't find room to land a body shot as Wenskoski controls the action.

James is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wenskoski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wenskoski shrugs it off.

James is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wenskoski has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wenskoski!

Wenskoski lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

James keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wenskoski's efforts to push away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fernando Wenskoski will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Oh Wenskoski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

James throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Wenskoski is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

James looking for a guillotine from mount but Wenskoski is having none of it.

Wenskoski is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
James postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Wenskoski in real trouble here! The ref calls for Wenskoski to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pepper James!
Pepper James seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
