Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Vassiliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eric Morrillo- Break Down the Doors. Sam Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergey Vassiliev!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vassiliev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Robinson throws a strike aimed at the side of Vassiliev's head but Vassiliev avoids it well.
Vassiliev can't do much from the bottom here.
Robinson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Vassiliev sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Vassiliev tries to improve position but can't.
Vassiliev on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Robinson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Vassiliev to get to his feet.

Robinson keeps control of Vassiliev as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Robinson has Vassiliev pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Robinson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vassiliev tumbling to the mat - Robinson dives into Vassiliev's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Robinson is stalling here. Vassiliev is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Robinson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Vassiliev has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Robinson tries to lock up and control but Vassiliev gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Robinson is in a horrible position here. Vassiliev smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Robinson tries to control Vassiliev's body but Vassiliev pushes him off. Robinson squirms to his side and now Vassiliev has his back!

Vassiliev manages to capitalize on a mistake by Robinson to take his back!
Vassiliev slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sergey Vassiliev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I think Robinson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
